This wine shows a good aromatic intensity with bright herbaceous and floral notes, gooseberry and lime. It is layered with flavours ranging from guava, melon, gooseberry and lime zest. This uplifting Sauvignon shows an excellent length and depth on ther palate.

A single vineyard wine from our Medway River Vineyard. No oak was used, to allow the pure fruit characters of the wine to shine through. A bouquet of white peaches fused with citrus notes, with ripe stone fruit and tropical notes on the palate, with a long crisp citrus finish.

A beautifully balanced, ripe wine with outstanding mid-palate weight. The nose is a seductive array of delicate floral aromas followed by hints of gingerbread, dried fruits and mandarin peel on the palate. Typical fresh fruit characters from Hawkes Bay Chardonnay such as grapefruit, melon and stonefruit are unencumbered with the sensitive use of oak.  The wine is rich, round and complex, although with balanced natural acidity and definition.

Dashwood Sauignon Blanc is pale strey in colour. The nose has stone fruit, citrus and fresh tropical notes that eap from the glass.The palate is expressive with stone fruit, citrusand fresh tropical flavours that linger on through the crisp finish.

A new breed of Riesling, an emerging trend over the last few years here in New Zealand. Lower levels of alcohol (10.5%), bags of flavour and beautiful balance.

This Riesling is off-dry to medium in style with aromas of citrus and white peach. The residual sugar is well balanced the wines fine thread of natural acidity. The palate is layered with lemon meringue, lime and grapefruit notes with added minerality. Mid palate weight has been enhanced by the use of lees ageing to increase the mouth feel and extract. Expected to age well where classic secondary Riesling characters will evolve.

Like so many South American wines this is just such awesome value for money.

If you're new to this grape variety think Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot - it's typically smooth and rich and wonderful with meat and pizza/pasta dishes.

A rich, red-colored wine with violet hues, redolent of plums and cherries. Round in the mouth with a touch of truffle and vanilla.

The ideal wine for grilled meat. It also combines very well with pasta, mild to spicy cuisine and semi-hard cheeses such as Gouda, Edam or Gruyere.

The presence of vines in the Luberon goes back to antiquity. The Romans planted these vines in particular in the Pay d'Aigues region, and then in the middle ages and during the Renaissance, the wine growing area spread widely, especially to the north of Petit Luberon.

Greanche 60%, Syrah 30% Carignan and Mourvedre 10%. A lovely ruby colour. Dominance of red stewed fruit (mainly morello and cherries) on the nose. Spicy aromas (pepper). Flavours on the palate of candied fruits. It is an elegant tannic wine.

Hawke's Bay has become renowned as one of the top regions for Syrah, with flavours and a style unique to its terrior. This wine is no exception, made with hand-picked fruit from the state highway 50 gravels region. Matured 18 months in new and seasoned French barriques, it exhibits fragrant violets, highly concentrated blackberry, spice and a hint of black pepper with a seasoning of finely textured smoky oak.

This Pinot comes from Gibbston in Central Otago and was produced by Sandihurst's Christchurch-born winemaker, Kirk Bray. It is a youthful, dark ruby wine with distinctive aromas of berry, bramble, mushroom, spice and wild thyme. The fruit and toasty oak are well integrated and supported by a fine tannin structure.

Strawberry, raspberry and plum are lifted on the nose. Strawberry, mulberry and blackberry flavours combine with spice on the palate. Indian Pale Ales were developed by the English brewers for troops serving throughout the Empire. To survive the long sea journey, large quantities of hops were added as a preservative. The defining essence of Emerson's 1812 IPA is the sheer 'Englishness'!

The beer has a delightful marmelade character with toffee maltiness, balance by complex, orangey and earth hop notes in both the aroma and palate. Tangy hops dominate the beer's lingering, dry finish.
