Pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is full, voluminous and even with fresh, mouthwatering aromas of passionfruit, gooseberries, capsicums and fresh garden herbs. Dry to taste and medium bodied, bright, lively and acid-tinged flavours of passionfruit and gooseberries form a good, deep core. Brisk and crisp acidity lifts the fruit, revealing floral and lime notes. This flows softly and smoothly through the palate, with a near slipperiness, the flavours leading to a soft, nuanced finish. This is a smooth flowing, lively Sauvignon Blanc with a voluminous bouquet of passionfruit and gooseberries.

Serve with antipasto, seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years.

Peach and citrus aromas lead to a palate that is fresh and vibrant. Displaying minerality, volume and a pleasing length. This wine shows Chardonnay at its varietal best unencumbered by oak.

Winemakers Notes: The two clones were harvested and fermented separately. Post fermentation the wines were regularly stirred to enhance the mouthfeel. The Mendoza fruit was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation to soften the wines acidity.

Viticulture Notes: Produced entirely from grapes off our Chaytors Road vineyard, using Mendoza and C16 Chardonnay clone fruit. The vines were shoot and fruit thinned, together with some light leaf plucking to ensure proper fruit ripening.

Cellaring: Drink now, whilst the wine is young and fresh.

Food Match: Your choice of seafood or white meats.

This versatile little number wins the hearts of all who try it. It's oozing with zesty lemonand lime aromas and complemented by melon and honey with a clean bite of stewed apple on the palate that is round, rich and smooth with a long finish.

Lone Goat is the old Giesen site at Burnham and the grapes used for vthis wine are from 25 year old vines. This is a stunning winefor not much cost. The nose and palate are dominated by complex citrus characters with lime notes that delelop in the mouth; the mineral acidity, balance and long clean finish belie the 15 gms of residual sugar. The Giesen Brothers made some outstanding rieslings over the years from this vineyard nd the tradition is continued here.

"The 2010 vintage is the best yet. Deep and youthful in colour, it offers very good depth of plum, olive, herb and spice flavours, showing some savoury complexity" - Review by Michael C

On the mouth it produced spicy notes with fine tannins and hints of earthiness. With a silky, rich body and developing complexity, this wine is delicious now or cellar for the next 5 years.

Exuberant is the word to describe this wonderful wine. A generation ago, legions of mass-produced, sweetened-for-the-U.S.-market Lambrusco flowed all over America, ruining the reputation of the DOC until now. Today Lambrusco is enjoying an incredible rebirth amongst lovers of clean, fresh, dry, fruit character with a hint of bubbles. A perfect aperitif, you won't be able to keep that bottle in the fridge very long. Frothy purple love!

A 'Kiwi Classic', Pilsner is a showcase for Nelson grown Riwaka hops. Its overt fruitiness begs comparison with Marlborough's world-beating Sauvignon Blancs. Emerson's Pilsner oozes citrus and passionfruit aromas and flavours.

The beer's palate shows a hint of early malt sweetness but develops a lengthy dry finish.

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style. Dark, dry and mellow with some hop characteristics, London Porter pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints, and the aroma is toasty with a hint of sweetness and some earthy hop notes.

Firm bodied, but not heavy, with a creamy texture, the dryish palate is full of roasted malt, coffeeish notes and a sustained bitterness.

Indian Pale Ales were developed by the English brewers for troops serving throughout the Empire. To survive the long sea journey, large quantities of hops were added as a preservative. The defining essence of Emerson's 1812 IPA is the sheer 'Englishness'!

The beer has a delightful marmelade character with toffee maltiness, balance by complex, orangey and earth hop notes in both the aroma and palate. Tangy hops dominate the beer's lingering, dry finish.
