A beautifully balanced, ripe wine with outstanding mid-palate weight. The nose is a seductive array of delicate floral aromas followed by hints of gingerbread, dried fruits and mandarin peel on the palate. The appearance of sweetness in the middle is deceptive as the wine finishes dry, clean and crisp.

“A gently expressed Pinot Gris showing ripe peach, citrus and pear characters on the nose. The palate is well fruited and lively with nicely integrated acidity and a lingering tasty finish. A well balanced and smooth wine with a wide appeal. At its best: now to 2012".  Sam Kim. www.wineorbit.co.nz

Malbec is what Argentina knows best. These guys have twice been voted "Argentina Wine Producer of the Year"

Malbec to Argentina is like Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to New Zealand - it's just what they do best! Trapiche are the biggest producer of wine in Argentina and have twice won 'Argentina Wine Producer of the Year' at the prestigous London International Wine & Spirit Competition.

Like so many South American wines this is just such awesome value for money.

If you're new to this grape variety think Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot - it's typically smooth and rich and wonderful with meat and pizza/pasta dishes.

A rich, red-colored wine with violet hues, redolent of plums and cherries. Round in the mouth with a touch of truffle and vanilla.

The ideal wine for grilled meat. It also combines very well with pasta, mild to spicy cuisine and semi-hard cheeses such as Gouda, Edam or Gruyere.
