Trinity Hill Hawkes Bay Pinot Noir 2008
84/100: Bob Campbell. Surprisingly good Pinot Noir from a region that's not renowned for making top examples. Peppery, cherry and toasty oak flavours. Delicate, supple wine with some charm.
Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, plum and cherry are evident in this wine. The wine shows soft, velvety tannins, with the flavours of red fruits. The wine will develop lovely forest-floor, earthy characters with bottle age. Superb with salmon, poultry or game dishes. We recommend 2 to 4 years bottle aging.
